Kazan z Dasickeho zatisi

HOW IT´S STARTED ...

Originally Kazi was supposed to be a watch- and family dog, but due to todays wide range of actions for dog owners it´s difficult to resist and not to try anything :o

Sports training - nothing for us, I  would have a problem just because wearing the leash over my right shoulder instead of on the left one as the rule requires :)))) Though we could compete in tracking. As the right Chodsky dog, Kazi is a born tracker, easy to motivate with food, but due to lack of right place and time for training we stopped ...

We tried agility and we loved it! Kazi was very good, but thanks to his thick coat and heavier build we are limited in sport activities from the first spring till last warm autumn days ... but sometimes we build a provisional jumping on the garden just for fun :)

Last winter we tried coursing for the first time, but didn´t stayed with it.

Kazi´s favourite activity is bikejöring, but the conditions for this sport aren´t very good at our place. So only sometimes in cold weather we take a day off, go to the mountains and enjoy watching our dog happily trotting and galloping ... moreover it´s the only way how to be faster than him :)))) We would go more often, if the conditions were better ...

The cross-country skiing with Kazi looks similar - he´s not hot and he pulls like a horse :))) Unfortunatelly, due to number of cross-country skiers in the trails we go only a few times a year at the weekday. And only when the snow is wet otherwise Kazi´s paws suffer from the icy balls ... but it´s an ideal winter sport for Chodsky dog!

Our walking sometimes looks like a "canicross", but running with the Chodsky dog downhill is nearly life-endangering :))))

Nevertheless, there is one activity we stayed with ... Kazi is a quiet nature, BUT his behaviour changes rapidly when we go for a trip or when we are at any dogtrekking event. His thrill is close to madness :))) We were just hooked by this "sport" and we´ll be happy, if our health allows us to stay with it for some time ...
