The Holidays with the Chodsky dog - Moravian Karst

After two years break we spent again 10 days holiday with the Chodsky dog Club.

It was as good as usually, though a bit different this year. The campsite Olsovec in Jedovnice is nice, but for the club event it´s too large and as our friends were staying around the whole campsite, we saw some of them only during the collective trip and by the campfire. The truth is, that in the Moravian Karst area there are so many nice places to visit and Jedovnice is an ideal starting point, so the trips and swimming in the aquapark took the most of our free time ...

For Kazi was this year´s stay rather relaxing. For a few days he had the digestive problems and some days were so hot, that he only slept in the shade of our bungalow ...

The first weekend we visited the Castle Rajec upon Svitava ...

with the beatiful natural woodpark ...

On Wednesday there was a nice collective trip to the cave system called Rudicke Subsidence ...

and in the evening we sat by the fire with Kazi ...

Last Saturday late afternoon we went to nearby Doubravice upon Svitava and through the easy path along the creek we got to the ruins of former Doubravice Castle.

Although the ruins are only the overgrown pile of stones, the place is quite magical and the way back through the summer evening was a beautiful ending to this year´s event ...
